Fran Ilich
Fran Ilich, codename Ilich Sabotage, is author of the novels Metro-Pop & Tekno Guerrilla. Has directed seminars of narrative media at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía, in Sevilla, participated in Berlinale Talent Campus, Antídoto (International Seminar of cultural actions in conflict zones), Interactive Frictions, MIT Media In Transition, Transmediale, Medialab Madrid, and World Social Forum Nairobi.
Ilich was editor at large of Sputnik Cultura Digital magazine, screenwriter of Interacción (Discovery Channel). Has directed festivales like Cinemátik 1.0, the 1st cyberculture festival in Latin America) & Borderhack. He directs the possible worlds cooperative server which was launched as a part of the sixth declaration of the Lacandon Jungle of Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional. His telenovela 'Fea y Rebelde' (Ugly & Rebel) was censored in August 2007 by Youtube by petition of Televisa. The defense is being done by Electronic Frontier Foundation. His current project is Fiction Department.
